| The Little Egypt Amateur Radio Society is the Amateur Radio Club of
the
Benton,
Illinois area. We
currently meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm, at the
Franklin
Hospital in
Benton.
Visitors are always welcome.
VHF Repeater
Our VHF
repeater is located at the Southern end of
Rend
Lake, just outside of
Benton
IL on the
frequency pairs
of 146.8050 / 146.2050 MHz with a required PL tone of 88.5.
We conduct our
weekly Net Meetings on the LEARS VHF repeater every Monday evening
beginning at 8:30 pm. All licensed amateurs are welcome and encouraged
to check in. A current schedule of Net Control Operators can be found
